“Love. Light. Wren.” - an original painting created by Priya Gore has been chosen as one of the finalists for the David Shephard Wildlife Foundation Artist of the year 2023 awards and is going to get exhibited in the Mall Galleries in London. These awards are the “Oscars” of the wildlife art. More than 1600 artists from 61 countries participate and only a few get chosen to be the finalists. Love. Light. Wren. could not be made available for the collectors to purchase due to the competition and hence this particular series of small artworks is created to give collectors an opportunity to own this stunning beautiful concept captured in a smaller framed artwork inspired by the beautiful birdlife of Australia.

Artist is a world traveller and she is staying in Bali currently. This piece is created in Bali and the background is inspired by the beautiful dramatic sunrise in Bali. Artists feelings about Bali and why she decided to incorporate her Bali experiences in the backgrounds of this series can be expressed through the quote- “Bali is more than a place. It’s a mood. It’s magical. It’s a tropical state of mind.” The foreground features four female Splendid Fairy Wrens and one proud male.

Love. Light. Clouds.
