This piece is created in Bali and the background is inspired by the beautiful bright red hibiscus flowers and the plants in Bali. Artists feelings about Bali and why she decided to incorporate her Bali experiences in the backgrounds of this series can be expressed through the quote- “Bali is more than a place. It’s a mood. It’s magical. It’s a tropical state of mind.” The foreground features a super handsome pair of purple crowned wrens. Also, this is the only piece in the series which features purple crowned wrens.
